Connect Claude to Chalk

Connect Claude so it can read your training and program your plans into Chalk.

What you'll need

A paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) — custom connectors aren't on the free plan. Claude Desktop also works.

Get your Chalk link
In Chalk, tap Settings (the cog), then "Connect your AI coach". Tap "Generate connector link", then the copy button. This long web address is your private key — keep this tab open so you can grab it in a second.

Open Claude's settings
Go to claude.ai. Click your initials in the bottom-left corner, then "Settings".

Go to Connectors
Choose "Connectors" from the menu, then scroll down to "Add custom connector".

Add Chalk
Name it "Chalk" and paste your link into the "Remote MCP server URL" box. Leave the other boxes blank and tap "Add".

Approve it
Claude may ask you to enable or trust the new connector — say yes.

Use it in a chat
Open a chat, click the connectors/tools icon near the message box, and switch on Chalk. Then try: "Use Chalk to pull my training plan."

Stuck? Quick fixes

I can't find "Add custom connector"

Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan — on the free plan the option is hidden.

Claude isn't using Chalk

Make sure Chalk is toggled on for that chat (the tools/plug icon by the message box).
